Sprinkler Repair Cost Calculator
Pick what the system is doing, how many zones it’s affecting, and your water source, and this gives you the range we’d quote on the phone. It’s built from the same prices published on the pricing page, not from a lead form, and it doesn’t ask for an email.
One honest note before you use it: the service call covers the diagnosis, and most repairs here finish inside that same visit once the tech knows what’s actually wrong. What no calculator can see is a second problem hiding behind the first, a valve box that’s fine on the surface but weeping underneath, or a nozzle clog that turns out to be a symptom of a bigger sediment problem on a non-potable line.
What each answer changes
- What the system is doing picks the likely part family. A geysering head is a quick, cheap fix; a mainline break is a bigger dig and costs more. Our problems pages walk through the five-minute check for each specific symptom if you want to narrow it down further before running the numbers.
- How many zones are affected matters because more than one zone acting up at once usually points to a shared cause further upstream, a manifold, a mainline, or the controller itself, rather than several unrelated failures.
- Water source matters because a non-potable or reclaimed system carries more sediment than treated drinking water, which clogs nozzles and filter screens faster.
If the number looks reasonable, send it to the form with one click and the tech arrives already knowing what you’re seeing. If it doesn’t, the service call page explains what the $75 to $150 diagnosis actually covers, or check the FAQ for more on how quotes work.
What will my sprinkler repair cost?
Three questions. The range is built from the prices on our pricing page, so it's the range you'd hear on the phone before a tech ever opens a valve box.
Drip irrigation conversions and full-system inspections have their own per-job pricing on the pricing page; this calculator covers the repairs we run most.
Send this estimate to the quote formAn estimate, not a quote. The firm number is confirmed once a tech has actually opened the valve box, and it does not move after that.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do these numbers come from?
The same tables on our pricing page: a $75 to $150 service call, heads $15 to $50 each, valve repair $150 to $350, controller repair $100 to $250, rain sensor $100 to $250, lateral line $100 to $300, mainline $200 to $600. The calculator adds the range that matches your symptom and adjusts for zone count and water source.
How accurate is it?
Close enough to budget with. The symptom tells us the likely part family most of the time, and the service call is fixed. What it can't see is a second problem hiding behind the first, which is why the tech confirms the number after the diagnosis, not before.
Do I have to give an email to see the result?
No. There's no gate and no signup. The range updates as you change the dropdowns, and sending it to the quote form is optional.
Why does the non-potable water option raise the estimate?
Homes on a reclaimed or non-potable system, common south of CR 466 and in Districts 5 through 14, tend to see faster nozzle and filter-screen clogging from the sediment that supply carries, so a repair on that water source is a little more likely to need a filter or screen replaced at the same visit.
